Yup, that is right here is the first international hydrant for the blog. Many of you may remember way back to the begining of this blog where we posted some pictures of our trip. If you don’t here is the link.

I shot this hydrant “from the hip” as he was walking by on the sidewalk (okay I was actually the one walking but just play along).

This past Friday night we got to hang out with little Noah and his mom and dad. Noah is one of our best little friends and you can see how much he has grown from his baby pictures to his four and a half month pictures and now his 8 month pictures! Noah is a little mover and a’ shaker! He is probably one of the most active babies I know… I don’t know that many babies so I’m not sure what that really means, but take it as you will… Anyway, Noah is always fun to shoot, although easier before he learned to crawl! Here are a few of our favorites!

Noah loved Michael and the camera and he used every opportunity he got to get to one of those two things!

I love Noah’s blue eyes with the green rug in his room!

One of the few moments we caught of Noah not moving on the right and my fave, Noah peeking between his Dad’s legs!

That’s all for now folks! Hope you enjoyed seeing how big Noah has gotten! Have a great Wednesday!

My in-laws owned a sailboat on the Chesapeake Bay a couple of summers ago and we used to spend time down there sailing. One time we took the boat to the town of St. Michael’s to do some shopping and eating. While we were there I took many pictures of fire hydrants. Here is the first of many that you will see from St. Michael’s.

This one is the church/graveyard safety officer.

Chris :: Sr. Portraits

August 20, 2009

About a week ago we shot Chris’ Sr. portraits at a local park. He was an awesome subject and was great at smiling. As a side note: us guys aren’t too fond of having swans in our Sr. portraits but fortunately for Chris you can hardly see them.

While shooting an engagement session in the North in the winter can get a little chilly. Such was the case while shooting Becky and Troy’s engagement. The solution was a quick stop in Starbucks to pick up some warm drinks. The only problem with shooting and drinking at the same time is needing a third hand. Fortunately  there was a fire hydrant that came to the rescue!

And since you don’t know who Becky and Troy are (pre-blog days engagement session) here are some shots from their session.
